Privacy Notice
This notice explains how Vitova ("we", "us", "our") collects and uses personal data when you submit your email address to our launch waitlist or otherwise interact with vitova.co.uk. We are committed to handling your data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Who we are
Vitova Health Ltd is a UK-based supplement brand, registered in England & Wales (company number 17201398) and trading as Vitova. The business is run by James, Airline Captain & Founder. For any questions about this notice or your personal data, contact us at hello@vitova.co.uk.
Vitova Health Ltd acts as the "data controller" of the personal data described below.
2. What data we collect
When you join the launch waitlist we collect:
- Email address — provided by you via the form on vitova.co.uk.
- Source attribution — a tag indicating you signed up from "vitova.co.uk waitlist", recorded automatically.
- Submission timestamp — recorded automatically by our email provider.
If you opt in to analytics or marketing cookies (see section 8 below), we may also collect anonymous usage information and advertising-related identifiers. We do not collect your name, address, payment details or any special-category data at the waitlist stage.
3. Why we use it (and our lawful basis)
- To tell you when Vitova Calm launches and, if you stay subscribed, to share occasional product updates. Lawful basis: your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), which you give by ticking/submitting the waitlist form.
- To keep records of consent as required by the UK GDPR accountability principle. Lawful basis: legal obligation.

4. Who sees your data
Your email address is stored and processed by:
- Klaviyo, Inc. — our email marketing platform, based in the United States. Klaviyo is certified under the EU-US and UK Extension Data Privacy Framework, which provides a valid transfer mechanism for personal data leaving the UK. See Klaviyo's privacy notice.
- Vercel Inc. — our website hosting provider. Vercel processes limited technical request data (e.g. IP addresses in server logs) to serve the site. See Vercel's privacy policy.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers or unrelated third parties.
5. International transfers
Klaviyo and Vercel both process data in the United States. These transfers are covered by the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and, where applicable, by Standard Contractual Clauses with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
6. How long we keep it
- If you remain subscribed: we keep your email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
- If you unsubscribe: we keep a minimal suppression record (your email, in a do-not-contact list) so we do not accidentally re-add you. This is retained for up to 6 years.
- If the Vitova waitlist is shut down without launching, we will delete all email addresses within 90 days and notify you first where reasonably practicable.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Ask us to correct or delete it;
- Restrict or object to our processing;
- Withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect lawfulness of earlier processing);
- Receive your data in a portable format;
- Lodge a complaint with the UK supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

8. Cookies
vitova.co.uk uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies. We group them into three categories so you can choose what you’re comfortable with. You can review and change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer, or by clearing your browser storage for this site.
- Strictly necessary — required for the site to work, including delivering pages securely and remembering your cookie choice. These cookies do not require consent under PECR and cannot be turned off. Set by Vercel (our hosting provider) and by this site itself (to store your consent decision).
- Analytics (off by default) — anonymous traffic measurement so we can see which pages people read and where they get stuck. We do not use this to build advertising profiles. Loaded only with your consent.
- Marketing (off by default) — used to show you Vitova ads on Meta, TikTok and other platforms, and to measure how those campaigns perform. Loaded only with your consent.
If you reject non-essential cookies, the site continues to work normally. We store your decision for six months, after which we’ll ask again.
9. Security
We rely on Klaviyo and Vercel — both established providers with industry-standard security certifications — to protect your data in transit and at rest. We limit internal access to the Klaviyo account to the founder.
10. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version. Material changes affecting how we use your data will be notified to subscribers by email before taking effect.
